Mrs. Ura A. Hesler, 68, 103 N. Davis St., a native of Montgomery County and a Waynetown resident for many years, died at 4:18 p.m. Wednesday at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. She was taken to the hospital Sunday for surgery. Born April 8, 1895, in Montgomery County, her parents were Edwin and Nora M. Herron Ingersoll. On Nov. 22, 1913, she married Forest Hesler in Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Ingersoll Chapel Christian Church and attended the Waynetown Baptist Church after the disbanding of the Ingersoll Church. Educated in the Ridge Farm School, she was also a member of the Ingersoll Ladies Aid Society. After her marriage, she lived four miles southwest of Waynetown until 1959 when she and her husband moved to Crawfordsville. Survivors include her husband; the father, of Crawfordsville; three sisters, Mrs. Russell Miles, Rt. 6, Mrs. Ralph Rusk and Mrs. Donald Moore of Rt. 2, Waynetown; two brothers, Harold Ingersoll of Crawfordsville and Chester Ingersoll of Rt. 2, Waynetown, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday.
